We practice a form of instrument adjusting that is similar to human chiropractic care. The objective of this procedure is to locate areas of an animal’s nervous system that have fallen out of communication and re-establish nerve communication which helps in healing. All chiropractic modalities have one thing in common in that they all reduce the vertebral subluxations complex by providing motion or force to the fixated or subluxated joint. We deliver that force with a hand-held device. It looks like a spring loaded doorstop, but we use it to deliver a quick, yet gentle force, to joints in the spine or limbs. After subluxations in the spine have been treated we use a Vetrostim to relax muscle around the spinal column. This step is critical to helping your pet relax and it extends the amount of time that your pet can go between adjustments.
Instrument adjusting sounds painful, but we can assure you that most of our furry patients thoroughly love their treatments. Our regular patients love to visit the clinic and sometimes “drag” their owners in to visit us even when they don’t need an adjustment. This is just a placeholder
