A key component to maintaining your pet’s health is an annual physical examination. Pets grow older much faster than humans, so even a yearly examination may not be frequent enough for older pets or those that have chronic medical problems. At the end of each examination we will work with you to decide when your pet should be seen again at our clinic.
During your pet’s physical examination our veterinarian will thoroughly examine your pet from his nose to his tail. We will let you know during the exam if we find anything abnormal and we will discuss any further medical tests that may need to be done.
With our senior pets we will spend extra time with you discussing any concerns that you have about your pet’s health or behavior. We will also discuss your pet’s nutritional needs.
We try to allow ample time during your pet’s annual examination so that we can address all of your pet’s healthcare needs and have time to formulate a plan to keep your pet healthy and happy for as long as possible.
