In Case of an Emergency

If you have an emergency outside of our regular business hours, please call our office at 507-765-2117 and you will be directed to the veterinarian who is on call. Root River Veterinary Center and Spring Valley Veterinary Clinic veterinarians share after hour emergency duty, so a veterinarian should be able to handle your large animal emergency, or contact you about your small animal problems within a reasonable period of time.

The Emergency service is staffed during evening and weekend hours with veterinarians who are trained in emergency medicine and licended technicians. They may be better equipped to handle life thretening illness or injuries that occur after regular business hours.
