Kristin was born and raised in Bird Island, MN and graduated from BOLD High School, and attended Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, MN before calling Fillmore County home. She moved to Preston in 1995 and began working for the Root River Veterinary Center in June of 1996.

 

Kristin and her husband Bob, live west of Fountain on the family farm where they have beef cows and pigs. Together they raise her three children, Alex, Clay and Emilee. They also have three furry children, the “intelligent leader”, a husky mix named Molly, the “follower”, a Yellow Lab named Raegan, the “class clown”, and a pug/beagle mix, named Stranger.

 

Kristin spends her time away from the office getting kids to and from football, basketball, wrestling, golf, volleyball and dance practices, along with enjoying their games and events. She loves to shop and is slowly redecorating every room in her house.

 

 

Kristy was born, raised and lives in Lime Springs, IA. 25 miles south of Preston. She began working for Root River Veterinary Center in June 2002.

 

Kristy and her husband, Shaughn have 3 grown children, Chantal (Troy) and son Liam, Denny, and Meghan (Jason) and sons Kolton and Nolan.

 

Although the kids are grown, the house still continues to have plenty of action with 2 cats, Alley Cat and Evelyn and 3 dogs, Roberto (Bob) mixed, and Bryce, Black Lab, and Bruce a Black Lab mix.

 

Kristy also owns and operates a photography business when away from the veterinary center, and spends as much time as possible with her grandsons. She is also a huge Iowa Hawkeyes fan!

 

 

Hi. My name is Erin. I have been married to my husband Britt for almost 7 years. We have two daughters, Alexis and Amanda who both attend Lanesboro Elementary. We also have many 4-legged children, Duke & Cocoa, both labs, and Nella, Tippi and Charlotte the cats.

 

I have been employed at Root River Veterinary Center for 5 ½ years as Client Relations Specialist. I am thrilled to be working at my dream job and enjoy every day of it.

 

Anne was born in Austin, MN and moved to Preston when she was 6, which makes her almost a native. She and her husband of 29 years, Steve, have 3 grown children. They have 2 granddaughters and had their first grandson at the end of February. Rounding out the family are Syd the dog and Morris the cat.

 

Anne has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Winona State University and has spent most of her career working with children. She joined the staff at Root River Veterinary Center in 2004.

 

Outside of work, Anne enjoys gardening, reading, and traveling to visit her kids.





BUSTER

Buster is our office mascot. He belongs to Dr. Sifford and Dr. Sautter. Buster enjoys coming to work every day to eat treats and lay in the sun. He is fourteen years old and has many "senior moments", but we love him any way. Buster enjoys eatting, sleeping and going for walks. His dislikes are cold weather, people coming near his car when he is in it and people. Buster can be found most days at the clinic unless it is too cold to leave the house or because of his bad hearing, he didn't hear the alarm clock!
